Churches of Christ in WA is committed to empowering our churches to champion a safe church culture. 

Cultivating a culture of faithfulness and safety amongst our ministry leaders and their teams. The purpose of Safe Church is to encourage our member churches to implement excellent policies and procedures that create a safe space for everyone.


To ensure a high standard of COCWA SAFE, we are currently reviewing our delivery of safe training. In the meantime, we have partnered with Bastion to deliver a simple, step-by-step tool to help churches stay on top of safety and compliance. In WA it is mandatory for certain professionals, including ministers of religion to report a belief of child sexual abuse.
