Bullcreek Church of Christ youth “Ablaze” participated in the “Walk for Water,” Open Doors fundraiser on Saturday 12 September.

It was forecast to be a cold wet and windy day, but they managed to do the whole walk without getting wet. The group left from the church and walked to the South Perth foreshore where they were met by a group of less energetic enthusiasts from the church who had the BBQ fired up and hot food ready to replenish all those who participated.

They raised over $1,000 for Open Doors and it was so encouraging for our church to be involved. And who doesn’t enjoy a picnic on the Swan to celebrate and thank those who take part in an event like this!
